Discover the Valtiberina Toscana in all its natural splendour
A historic family farmhouse which, following a thorough renovation in bio-construction, has become a zero km agritourism.
This is how Villa di Castro was born, a Tuscan locale with a unique charm and surrounded by greenery.
Villa di Castro is the ideal place for guests wishing to wake up in the midst of unspoiled nature, while breathing clean air in a relaxing atmosphere. Once a "castrum", or camp for a unit of the Roman army, the property has been managed by Mariateresa Baroni since 2015, together with her family, who passionately take care of all the activities of the farm and zero km agritourism.
EXPERIENCES IN THE VALTIBERINA
A zero km agritourism set in three hectares of olive groves and six hectares of chestnut trees, Villa di Castro offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a natural stay in comfortable rooms and apartments, as well as unforgettable experiences related to farming life, such as olive and chestnut harvesting.
To date, many groups have chosen to visit this charming zero km agritourism to meditate in nature, organise team building sessions or simply spend a holiday with friends, unplugging from the daily grind and taking advantage of half or full board.
AGRICULTURE AND 0 KM PROCESSING
The farm and the agritourism live in harmony: our guests can experience nature first-hand, taste our farm's products, from chestnut jams to extra virgin olive oil, and buy bio-cosmetics at our in-house shop.
